Canada Vs Ireland - Olympics

So it's all going mad here round Vancouver for the 2010 winter games and who is doing better, Canada or Ireland?
In the medals we have,
Canada 6 gold, 4 silver, 1 bronze.
Ireand 0 gold, 0 silver, 0 bronze

But it's participation that counts? Right? At least that's what they tell kids here. Anyway, as I will never be an Olympic athlete then I don't think the medals are what we should be looking at. Let's look instead at the country showcases. Canada House VS Ireland House.

Ireland House : It's a pub. In a tent. Admittedly the tent is nice, it's got some fake stone walls, some bars, lots of tvs, live music and drink in plastic glasses. It's also getting the most complaints for late partying.
Queue to get in : About 10 minutes.
Atmosphere inside : Great. A perfect start to the Olympic pub crawl.
Cost : No idea, but I am guessing that they are raking it in. The place is packed all day and the pricy booze is flowing.

Canada House : Again a tent but without the pub. It's in Livecity Vancouver. Get your picture taken with a bobsled, with some Mounties (I'll post them later) or queue another 45 minutes to get your picture taken with an Olympic torch. Some interactive TVs for the kids but really there is nothing here.
Queue : About an hour into LiveCity Vancouver and another 45 minutes into Canada House.
Cost : Somewhere round 20 million. For a fricking tent. Some one charged $19 million for a sheet of canvas and fecked off to Barbados. Sure the tax payers will still be paying for it during the 2030 Olympics.
Atmoshpere : Disappointed. Lots of "Did I just queue for this long to see an expensive tent with nothing in it?"

Winner : Guess. Go on. Hint: They serve Guinness and people go there just beacuse of the complaints.

Score : Canada 4 Ireland 5
