It seems that some people still aren't understanding the whole global recession thing. Irish tourism for one. I got these offers in my inbox this morning.
Mazatlan - 7 nights all inclusive 5 star accomadation including flights, $777
Mexican cruise - 11 nights, all inclusive though no flights, $689 (here)
Ireland - 10 day tour, some meals, no airfare, $2035 (here)
Hmm, now given the exchange rate, where should I go?
In fact given the exchange rate, where should the Irish go? Hint. The answer to both questions is a sunny place. Is it just me our is Irish tourism pricing itself way out of the game? 5 star all inclusive or horribly expensive bus tour? Not much of a choice really.
